Legacy

It was nothing to the person who bought it; a weekly treat, perhaps a rare, once-a-year luxury. To those who served it, it was a job, a lifestyle, and (for some) a life. For the people who made all the little parts of what was served, it was a legacy. It was what had been done for years, all finally brought together in the last four decades under a banner of black, green and white. For all, it was good, and all it was, most of the time, was a cup of coffee.
